IS SUCCESS MORE PAINFUL THAN FAILURE?

“Having an unusually large goal is an adrenaline infusion that provides the endurance to overcome the inevitable trials and tribulations that go along with any goal. Realistic goals, those restricted to the average ambition level are uninspiring and will only fuel you through the first or second problem, at which point you throw in the towwel”-The 4 Hour Work Week

This quote is striking home with me. I’m quickly learning that it’s when decisions are made and all ties are cut that trials and tribulations come flooding in from every direction. I’m in a lot of pain. But if there is one thing that I’ve learned to love about myself, as flawed as a person that I am, it’s that my desire to keep going has always been larger than my desire to quit. And really I just want my future self to look back 5 years from now, and be really proud of what I chose to do today.
